Our Angel, Mandy, went to be with the Lord on April 23, 2007 at Cooks Children's Hospital in Ft.
Worth, Texas. She was born August 27, 1991 in San Diego, California.
She is survived by her parents, Carl and Kathy
Scarborough of Trent, Texas.
Four brothers, Rodney Sparks and James Scarborough of Abilene, Texas, John and Carl "JR"
Scarborough, of Trent, Texas. One sister, Rebecca Scarborough of Trent, Texas.
Paternal Grandmother, Jane Scarborough
of Abilene, Texas and Maternel Grandparents Raymond and Virginia Bunch of Itasca, Texas, plus several Aunts and Uncles.
She
was preceded in death by her paternal Grandfather, John F. Scarborough.
There was never a person that met Mandy that
did not fall in love with her.
Mandy had a personality that charmed everybody and a smile that could light up a room.
But,
most of all Mandy loved everybody and everybody that met her fell in love with her, from doctors and nurses to people that
would stop and talk to her while she was out.
The red hair got their attention and the smile would reel them in. Everbody
is put on this earth with a purpose, hers was to make people happy. She could take some one from feeling down and out to feeling
happy with just one of her smiles.
Mandy loved to swim. It didnt matter to her if it was a bathtub, a swimming pool,
a lake or the ocean. Her favorite place to swim was the ocean because she could ride the waves while her daddy held her.
When
her papa would work on cars , she would have to go outside and help him. She would starte talking in mandanese (a language
that mandy taught those that knew her) , telling him what to do next (Put some WD 40 on that papa).
Mandy loved a good
argument. Her daddy would say no you didnt or uh uh and then it was on. Mandy would be yelling at him and Carl would argue
back. Sometimes they would last for an hour but Mandy always won.
Mandys favorite movies were anything with Don Knotts.
She especialy liked The Shakiest Gun in the West. She would just laugh through the whole movie. She has seen every episode
of Andy Griffith about a thousand times.
Now fishing. Mandy could fish, and she loved it. Mom and Dad would tie the
pole to her chair. A lot of the times she would be the only one that caught any thing. One particular time when her mom was
takeing a catfish off of her line, the cat fish bit mom on the finger. Mandy thought it was the funniest thing she had ever
seen.
But most of all she made people happy , that is what she did and that was what she was about. Mandy, you are
gone from this world but there isnt a person here that will ever forget you. You will always be in our hearts.
